Mine was approved on Nov 15th 2010 but still have not received it. I called customer service 4 times but no user.
Last week I had info pass appointment and the lady told me they will track my package as they have already sent it on Nov 15th. Still nothing

Yes, I called Customer Service first thing this morning and I think I was lucky enough to talk to an IO. I think she was an IO because she had access to all the information and she confirmed that the older PD is in effect.

When you filed I485 , you have to send a copy of the I140. If you had sent in the one with the old PD then thats what USCIS will go by.
Call USCIS custonmer service and see what they tell you.

Interestingly, when we got introduced our self I found that couple of guys are from my apartment complex where I live for the past three years but never met them before. Another two guys from nearby apartments which are in walk able distance.
It is for sure that the State Chapters are good networking opportunity for everybody. Definitely it will help each of us one or the other way. Let us keep it going.

I don't know what "UNKNOWN" means. My wife is on her F1 (OPT). Same is the case with my friend. Both of our's says unknown.

I think, if you are US Masters/above plus if you are a member of profession, then you are the luckiest person on earth...
1) Need not File LC
2)U R not counted against the Quota
A hypothetical case where it may not work
But if your are a US-MS Electrical Eng and working as Tech Lead in IT, you do not qualify for this, as Tech Lead for IT may require US MS Comp Science not US-MS Elect Eng....since you do not qualify as memeber of profession.
In which case you need to file LC, which anyway will be a problem becasue of the misamatch of the profession and your qualification.
So for those kind of mismatches it will be really difficult to justify releif under this clause.

My PD Jan 2001( I ported PD - NOT SUBSTITUIE). I filed on July 2, 2007 for 485. I don't see any LUD's. Any guess what might be ahppening with my case.

Only 15 days left. This is our last chance until late 2013, or even later, with the presidential elections.
Enforcement is increasing and it will get worse. As you may know H1 and H4s are getting a lot of 221(g), GC applications are getting RFEs.
This is a critical time to show that we are valuable to the economy and contribute and create jobs. We have to improve our position, desperately - whether its H1b or Green Card.
THE ONLY WAY IS ADVOCACY.

When you enter first time the IO @ POE will take you to a separate room (not for a interogation, but a routine process which they follow) ................ so keep all answers ready as what you will say if they ask (I am sure in todays date they will ask) are you with same employer, do you have a job, do you have recent paystubs and so on.
All I can suggest is do not fumble with words there rather than just be confident in what you speak and if he asks for documents what will you do then.

Also, please comment on how do EB legal community defend themselves against all this biased, baseless attacks.
I have nothing against any community, everyone comes with their own skill, position, timing, education, luck etc. I don't control that. I can only control my factors and contribute to the overall clause.
Being my concepts clear, will help me contribute more and justify it more. Hence instead of picking up on my arguments (when I have made my intentions clear), won't help much.

Starting the thread for tracking the receipt notices recd by applicants for applications recd by the center on July 27 2007. Please update the thread with receipt dates, issued center. Also highlight if your I-140 is approved or pending with the center name
