Picked up a black 3DS at a midnight launch along with Steel Diver and Ghost Recon. I didn't like Steel Diver, but i'm going to give it a second chance and try playing it at a slower pace (I was going through it too fast and getting frustrated.) Ghost Recon on the other hand I have been playing since Sunday and loving it thoroughly. I've also picked up Pilotwings & Rayman3D but have not played them yet.
For anyone looking for a 3D photo that really shows off the 3D capability of the screen I found this one of a dog growling. It really pops out of the screen, but can be a little difficult to focus on. I think you have to go a little cross-eyed to see it.

To use the photo you will need to pop the SD card out of your 3DS and connect it to your computer with a card reader. Unzip the folder that's attached to this post and put the folder inside the DCIM folder at the root of the SD card. Then just pop the SD card back in your 3DS and open the photo app, it will update its database and then appear along with any other photos you already have.

Hope everyone is enjoying the beta. I pre-ordered from gamestop about 3 weeks ago, and went to get my key Thursday of last week.
Guy told me the last day to pick up a Beta key was wednesday. Missed it by one day! WTF.

But back to Office. I still prefer the Windows version however the Mac version is starting to grow on me. Were it not for MS CRM that I use at work, I could finally be rid of Windows once and for all. But, alas, no dice. Love how CRM works ONLY with IE.

Get rid of the red background color! A lot of widgets use red, at least the ones I have (same for blue). Use as a background your avatar, that would be cool, with the same red letters of the lines!

The G20 summit was absolutely pointless, it'll be a year in a few months. Here's hoping for a better next 4 years.. and hopefully the Liberals get their act together and come back.

I do still prefer my titles as they are more user-friendly and product centric rather than type centric. For example with your way is that iPod Touch software would be in a different place from iPod Touch hardware. But your layout does have the advantage of less options to click on and it is still a lot better than the existing layout.

The advantage is that they're comparatively cheap, and young soldiers already know the basics of using them.
It's also been mentioned that the Army could use them to display videos of local leaders asking people to cooperate, etc. Plus remote control of robots, etc.
As for visiting Apple, who knows. Usually the military finds a third party company to modify units, but in this case they could be checking to see if Apple was willing to build a bunch for less.
