this move was expected. I do not understand why some iPhone owners expect to be treated any differently than owners of other phones. Because they "want" to upgrade their phone every year? What if Apple starts releasing new model every 6 months? Will you demand ATT to pay for this?

One even more important change, which I KNOW they won't do, is use a universal radio chip that can support GOS and CDMA networks - no more having to buy a new phone every time you switch carriers - oops, that cuts agains Apple's AND the carriers interest - not much traction there.
It could potentially reduce Apple's manufacturing costs, so there may be some traction there.

For the record, it's really easy to access the file. Didn't even need the phone, the file is on your computer. The iPhone Tracker software finds the file for you. Literally took me 2 minutes to do.
Can't wait to get 2 minutes alone with my EX's computer! -kidding, I could care less, but you get the idea.

Yeah got my hands on one today, pretty cool little guy. We can't sell them till Friday though. We have about 150 in stock in our warehouse. They are smaller then I originally thought.

You are obviously missing the point. Apple's new subscription model is preventing choice from coming to it's customers. How is that not a bad thing?
I think Apple's policy allows for users to opt-in to sharing their personal data.

Therefore, I support life in prison in order to give the convicted killer every opportunity to improve their mind and realize the error of their actions before they die. I've argued with Christians on a similar point. Shouldn't they allow the killers to have the rest of their natural lives to accept Jesus as their savior? And by executing them, we're saying to Jesus, "in your face! We decide, not you!"

i know this would require different licensing deals but, assuming that most people will have similar collections of commercially available songs on their ipods, surely apple would not have to keep different instance of the same mater in each users imaginary allocated space.
just get apple to serve you music it knows that you own. admittedly this would stop working for totally individual content.
as a side note i have simply no idea if people actually get round to listening to the 10's of GB's of songs they have on their ipods! when your library total playtime is in years, you have too much music.

maybe i missed it but why is everyone saying that is not much storage? they are not going to store a copy of a movie for each person. they will just store a movie and allow everyone that has access to that file read it. That makes sense to me and will allow a crap load of media to be saved there.

If Apple releases a phone in the next few months that has OS X on it, I will personally eat one and post it on YouTube. ;)
So I guess you'd be off the hook this this case since as you can see from that phone's screen, it's running Mac OS M. ;)
Email needs to be a a focus, really. The thing about IM is the person has to be available to chat unless they leave themselves logged on all the time. I might as well just call them in that case. :rolleyes: With email, you can deliver a long message to a person even if their phone is turned off.
