You've probably already been slapped about this but I haven't read through all the posts...
Dude... I'm assuming you're a Christian to be so up-in-arms about the holiday (but I don't think that's the right example, honestly) -- you need to also be more tolerant of other religious holidays at the same time such as Hananachaka (butchered that) and Kwanza as well as some others, I'd imagine.
Wonder what price they will be by christmas (i bloody hate the term 'the holiday season'!!) anyone any thoughts?

It seems Kobe used to word "******" at a ref. Honestly it seems the "gay community" takes things way out of proportion and needs to relax a little, even if he is a celebrity the gay community needs to chill.
We (the general public) are tightening up the "gay slur" leash a little to tight. I know I use the word ****** or thats gay when I do things, even if I look at a pink motorcycle I'm like that's gay. It has nothing to do with gays in general, so why flip out over it?
We flip out because we're tired of words that are used to describe us also used to describe anything that's seen as bad, weak or negative. If you used that six letter word around me, I'd probably clock you. You wouldn't the N word around a black person, so why do you think it's OK to use the F word?

samsung is #2 patents holdings in USA. apple barely broke into top 50 recently.
$$ and patents holdings tell me it won't be so easy for apple.
However, look at the profits and Apple makes around the same or more than the entire Samsung conglomerate with 1/5 the workforce.

I doubt there will be a mass exodus for this either becasue the majority of people are sheep. They might get mad for a moment, but eventually they will justify staying and that will be it. Making a stand is hard, conforming is easy.

I wonder if Serlett's departure means more web focus since the new guy focused on the cloud? A new filesystem, being able to run web apps outside the browser, and a new UI would be nice for OSX� an internet layer built in using webkit (if that is possible) would be 3 nice new features, and with the new guy Ferengi or Fedenrigh or whatever� it could be possible?
Craig was the main man behind Enterprise Object Frameworks 2.0 at NeXT. The Cloud has nothing to do with this succession. Craig is just the perfect person to take Bertrand's position. Bertrand will be missed and they couldn't have given the role to a more deserving person.

so it seem that everybody is jumping on this cloud bandwagon. just wondering if having web based operating systems and file storage will slow down broadband internet speed?
is that a concern? honestly i'd rather have faster internet, if that's the choice.

Honestly, I don't really see what the big deal is. Compared to previous demands of movies and music companies (variable pricing, etc.), asking Apple to limit the number of iPods the movie can be viewed on doesn't seem like an unreasonable request. How many iPods do you own? Yes, it is one more limitation, but I can't really see this limitation as dramatically effecting your ability to view the movie. And, if this small concession opens the floodgates of all of the major movie studios to begin selling movies on iTunes, then I think it's more than fair.
Yeah, I don't care one way or the other. At my parents' house, five iPods are fed from a single computer. But only one of these is even capable of playing video. And how often are people watching full-length movies on iPods? Other than maybe traveling, they'll watch on the iTV or on the computer itself.
On the other hand, it would add an unnecessary complication to things.

The iPhone 4 is now 10 months old, that's getting a bit long in the tooth in the ever evolving tech world. :)
Agreed + the fact that this model was not released with the original phone; so it was going to suffer.
The real comparison would be the white iPhone 4 + the black iPhone 4 after April to iPhone 3GS when the iPhone4 came out.

Well I am going to get mine at my college bookstore since they are Apple certified! After my 8-9am class that is where I am heading 64GB 3G iPad with the Keyboard dock and black case :D:D:apple::apple:
