I am past the 14 day return window but I have only had my MBP for roughly a month now. I am noticing a dead pixel on the screen. Will Apple fix that or does Apple require a minimum amount of dead pixels to fix?

Hey guys,
I've been searching around a few forums including this one but can't seem to find the exact information i require.
I currently have a 16bg 3gs with iOS 3.1.3 and the baseband version 05.12.01 that I jailbroke using Spirit.
I was wondering whether was any way I could update the OS to 4.1x or higher without losing the jailbrake? If so, how can I go about it? I unfortunately purchased a copy of Infinity Blade before realizing that it required 3.2.

Yes, Kingston you've linked will work OK. Plus it has lifetime manufacturer's warranty (which really works). But I'd recommend the same brand but PC3200 (400 MHz). It's more futureproof - if you'd buy MDD with faster bus (or overclock this one's bus to 167 MHz) or G5 in the future, then you'll be able to use this RAM with it.

Why does it take a media storm for Apple to open up on an issue ? It would be so much better if they more forthcoming and frank before an issue snowballs.

what type of computer and what OS are you running this card with??
if its on Panther see if you can get the Airport admin utility from apple's website somewhere, that would probably be your best bet, even if you are not useing an airport card....

Now all they need to do is lower the price to $75, or include dotMac with iLife, or give discounts on Apple software with the purchase of .Mac.
Oh, and they need to increase speed and storage. And they need to add support for smartphones by enabling "push" IMAP.
And they in general need to stop depending on their tie-ins to the OS to make it worth it for the service... thats something MS would do. Make it worth it because it is a better product.

I have found a fun site for those of us that like some of the old time radio programs. http://radiolovers.com/ There is a bunch of stuff there in MP3 ctrl click lets you down load it On the left there is a link for all shows I found this to be a faster way to find what I wanted. Hope that some of you out there have fun with it

As a verizon customer, I didn't run out and get the iPhone for 2 reasons:
1. I figured the iPhone 5 would be out in June
2. Verizon isn't as lenient about moving up your New Every Two date as they used to be.

I am wondering why my Ipod does this...every like 5th time i start it up, it tells me to reconnect to itunes and restore....and does not work unless i restore it. What the heck is going on?

Perhaps the site is alluding to Revelations 6:4 - "And out came another horse, bright red; its rider was permitted to take peace from the earth, so that men should slay one another; and he was given a great sword."
I'm excited.
