I am trying to say something about my financial success instead of lifestyle.
But I have a good lifestyle too. I socialize, have parties all the time, have 2 nice kids and a nice house and a nice family. What else you want in life.
but after some time, you get bored by these things, you want to go up in your career(I am just maintaining status quo), want to do some other things, for which I need GC.

May be even 5 would help at this moment.
Also I would suggest to show the data as below in the contribution sign up page where the people would get an idea before contributing.
$100 Contribution / per month -- xxx members
$50 Contribution / per month -- yyy members
$20 Contribution / per month -- zzz members
$10 Contribution / per month -- xx members
$5 Contribution / per month -- x members
This would help the new members to grasp the idea about the strength of the forum and would also give a ball park figure on which range they should go.

Thanks just4gc for giving me the coveted vdlrao post. I must say the ages spent analysing Visa bulletins statistics and congressional testimonials of Charles Oppenhiem have finally borne fruit ;).
I guess Illusions beat me to the prediction. I must confess I havent spent a lot of time looking at Eb3 ROW. But even then I was surprised when it stayed at May 05 for as long as it did. The Backlog Reduction Centre stuck labor, the horizontal spillover, the Eb2 India backlog are few factors for why I was surprised.
I would say dont lose hope on Eb3 ROW, but until Eb2 India backlog stays it will be slow movement except as illusions pointed out in july 09. Last VB mentioned 60% of the demand recieved is before jan 2004. Thats pointing to the older BRC cases which are now seeing the end of the tunnel. fingers crossed.

My interpretation: the vote was not on Cornyn's amendment; in response to a Point of Order raised, there was a motion to waive the Budget Act for Cornyn's amendment (the Budget Act requires 60 "Yes" votes to bring to the floor amendments to appropriation bills); if 60 senators had voted "Yes" (and agreed to waive the Budget Act requirement for Cornyn's amendment), then a vote on the actual amendment would only have required a simple majority. But because only 55 voted "Yes", the amendment failed to obtain the waiver; it was out of order because it did not qualify as an amendment to this bill.
Because 40 Dems voted no on the waiver does not mean they are opposed to the amendment; they just did not want to vote on this amendment on this bill.

Yes it is at 1PM EST. Do you guys know if they are done with the horse bill? If they are done then it should just say 5882 and nurse bill. But schedule shows that they wil continue to work on horse bill as well...
From past couple hearings it seems like not EST but UGST (US Govt Std. Time ).. Eureka... I just discovered new time zone. I am working on to get patent on it.. Please dont run to Patent office.

See we dont know what you wrote, so without that you might find people that find it offensive, simply because they have no idea what you just said.
It is like you going out with friends and one of them doesn not speak your language, so wouldnt you speak English to make sure he or she isnt left out and feels uncomfortable?

Thats what I am sayin. Even naturalized citizenship can be revoked by revoking the underlying GC. Only citizenship by birth is the safest.
John walker Lynd was able to keep his citizenship in spite of being with Taliban. Had he been a naturalized citizen, I am sure US Govt would have revoked his citizenship by voiding his old GC.

Recently I met one friend. He was visiting his friend for vacation in New Orelans. When he was washing his hands in the rest room (in a shopping complex or Mall), suddenly he saw 3 or 4 guys surrounding him, hit him and took away his vallet and cell phone. Within a short time his credit card was used for a huge money around $2000. He was hit so bad that his nose bones broke into pieces and he has metal installed now for him to breath properly. I am not sure if this is due to bad economy or enemity over immigrants.
New Orleans was already in a bad shape due to Hurricane Katrina. Crime there is very high after what it went through. Anyway all these attacks have more to do with robbery ( or altercations ) rather than legal immigration attacks. The attackers don't care while attacking you whether you are here legally or illegally.

If there was more press coverage on the DC Rally i mean on TV it would bring the matter to the attention of more people. Someone suggested sending pizzas or roses to the media which I second.

If both of you are Indian citizens then your only option is PIO as OCI needs atleast one parent to be a US citizen.
If we move back to India on Indian passport and my son continues to hold US passport then he has to leave the country every 180 days or register with police under PIO card scheme. That is a very strange. Children of Indian citizen are at a disadvantage compared to those of a non-Indian citizen even in India.
