Personally, I let the phone drop to 0% and then recharge it to 100%. You really don't HAVE to, but some recommend it.

When the iPhone reaches 100% charge, it will not accept any more - so, no, it's not bad to keep it plugged in.

are you 100% sure about this?? just asking cuz there are times where i wanna charge my phone but its like 5 min before i wanna go to bed and dont wanna charge it for 8 hours . and its always rumored that leaving your charger on overnight will hurt the battery. thats the last thing i wanna do on an iphone since the battery is non removable

Thank you so much! I've been searching everywhere and wasn't able to find a concrete answer. That just makes AppleCare even more of a no-brainer!

I'm in the same boat - the nearest Apple Store is over an hour away. Luckily we have two stores near here - Mactown and MacDepot. You don't even have to call Apple first - you can just take it in. A friend of mine near here had her power adapter fry her Macsafe board inside her Macbook. Took it to Mactown, and the next day the board and the adapter were both replaced no charge. Saw the repair invoice that they were billing Apple for and it was over $600. Definitely paid off. :D

Thanks guys I got it working based on the suggestions. I just have a learning curve to go through after being with a PC all of my life. Luckly I'm not having too many issues.

On another note, anyone have a good idea for a travel bag that will carry a 13" mac book pro with charger, Iphone and Ipad 2. Any suggestions or experiences will be help full.

The only other issue would be MS office for mac as I'm having a hard time getting the exchange server to work but I think that is on my side not apple or the computer.

Not true. The Library of Congress has certified jailbreaking of mobile telephone devices as LEGAL.

Perhaps the real push should be to get them to include console gaming devices? Too bad they only make changes every 3 (?) years to the registry I believe.

Nice noob response. :p Anyone who regularly listens to music uses playlists and rotates the music from their computer to their iPods. At any one time, no one is going to listen to their entire 20GB worth of music. They are more likely to use smart playlists and shuffle among them.
coming from someone who listens to music almost constantly, i have to disagree. i have a 20+ GB library and i make playlists based on the entire library. in other words they wouldn't fit on a nano. i like hearing a mix of my favorites along with new stuff.

The quotes in the article don't even imply the guy said AMOLED screens are better, only that there is only 3-5% less visible difference (using some of that creative math since the actual difference he states is 20%) between the AMOLED screens and Apple's new screen.

Even then it conveniently ignores the fact that AMOLED screens are completely useless outside.

In any case it's a weak and completely ineffectual attempt at muckraking.

Samsung's new "Super" AMOLED are actually somewhat visible outside. They are an improvement in that respect. Besides that, it will have inferior color reproduction and (IMO) over-saturated colors.

My ipad ( treated jailbreak) is not recognized on PC and is stuck in boot loop.

even in DFU or recovery mode is not recognized by PC.
I've tried everything ... It simply is not recognized in any way ...
