Delicious Library will definitely print the library, but you may not have any options of what gets printed (Artist, Title, etc.). You can also copy and paste data from iTunes into a spreadsheet, and work with it there before being printed.

Why are your options only iMovie 11 and FCE4? You are thinking wrong, way wrong.
Here's the scoop. FCP is undergoing a revolution. Come the summer, FCPX is being released. It will sport an ultra-affordable price ($299), and it will do AVCHD natively. So wait for that, and go for it.
Here's FCPX (http://news.cnet.com/8301-27076_3-20054131-248.html), read up!
The new iMacs will be an excellent pairing with FCPX and AVCHD.

Well thanks to another more technical forum I was able to figure this out.
This forum would be less useless if you were to tell us what you found.

so I got it -- are there any default or suggested items, or do you have to define all of them?

A lot of people complain about Apple's displays being too expensive.
Others complain that you can buy similar quality ones for less.
My complaint is the lack of connectivity options.
Most other displays 17" and up have at least a DVI and a VGA connection.
Some have two DVIs, and some even have composite & S-video too.
I remember when SGI's excellent 17.3" widescreen display was out, it used a propietary connection which required a new video card, but they later made an adapter so you could hook up, DVI, VGA and even HDTV to it.
I don't see Apple putting more connections to their monitors anytime soon, but maybe when the new ones make their debut, they could also come with a $250 or less adapter that would have ADC/w DVI adaptor included, VGA and S-video/w composite adapter included.

hey all,
*i am* not actually selling this on MR, but a friend of mine wanted to know what a fair asking price for this would be. given it's two years old and its battery life is not what it used to be, what would a good price be? i figured my smart mac friends would know, even though this IS MR lol. thanks in advance.
I am interested in that machine so my wife has a comp she can use... If you your friend is interested in selling, I may be interested in buying.

An ARM processor would be terrible. Every app would have to be reworked, things like VMware would be dead, bootcamp would be dead, etc.
Windows 8 supports ARM.

Hi all,
I could do with some help with finding the original of some wallpaper I got from here ages ago. I've spent the past couple of hours searching through old "Desktop Picture" threads, but to no avail :(
I have the wallpaper set on my iMac, but now want to add it to my new MBA also, but find that I've deleted the file from the iMac, so it's only displaying the wallpaper from somewhere in the cache I suspect.
IIRC I got the link to the wallpaper from a "desktop Picture" thread dated from but as I say I've searched & searched, (& will continue doing so) but can't find it. So now I'm hoping that if I post a screen-shot of the wallpaper taken from my iMac, that someone will recognise it & perhaps be able to post a link to the original.

Long shot I know, but I'd really appreciate any help that could be offered

But at least it would seem there are people out there in a similar situation. The main problem for me at the moment is that I can't bring myself to create anything good. I'm a bit crap right now....

I have a series of .png still images of text with each still having a slight reflection on different parts of the text.
In motion, the stills come up as a 'PNG Sequence' (1sec1frame) when imported to the timeline, the text is animated, but id want to extend this animation to 3+ secs - just duplicating results in a 'dink' where one dupe stops and the other starts.
I have motion 4 and after FX CS5 though im more experienced with motion (prefer to do this in motion) - there are 25 still frames
Easy in both Motion and AE.
In Motion 4:
1. Import your PNG sequence into a Group.
2. Open the layers panel if it's not open (Command-4)
3. Select the sequence in the layers panel.
4. Open the Inspector and go over to the Properties panel.
5. Twirl down the Timing section if it's not up.
6. Where it says Speed, lower the speed until it hits the desired length of time you're looking for.
7. Helps to have the timeline up (command-7).
Let me know if you need further help.

Thanks. I did misread it, thinking he wanted to use his iMac disc on the MBA.

No way it will bubble your screen protector....it is a very soft silicone piece.
That said I put it on once and stuck it back in the box. It's like the really soft inside portion of the Commuter without the hard outside to hold it all together. Way to soft of a material in my book. The sides are too "floppy".
Mine is heading back to Radio Shack. I don't believe I endured the "slippery" sales person at Radio Shack just to buy a case and then have to go back and return it.

There's gotta be some sort of newer solution than OggDrop for this purpose, or if there isn't, surely an AppleScript can be created to automate this task. I have the Ogg components for QuickTime installed, as well as QuickTime 7 Pro. I've tested the export function in QuickTime also, which works perfectly - creating a nice Ogg Vorbis file. Surely there's a way to automate a mass-convert job of over 12,000 files using this approach... Google searches have proved fruitless.
Can't you just use iTunes to do this? Change preferences to use Ogg for importing music, then select everything and convert to Ogg. Or doesn't that work?

I had a similar PowerBook. I don't miss cleaning the mouse-ball rollers at all. Seriously, who has time for cleaning mouse balls?
The Performa specs are indeed hilarious. "High-performance, 60MHz CPU"! Wow. Now we're routinely walking around with computers in our pockets that clock about 40X faster than that, are probably more like 500X more powerful altogether, which run days on batteries, with a whole spectrum of connectivity options ranging from 2G to 3G to 3.5G to WiFi and Bluetooth, with GPS, with an accelerometer, with a compass, with a gyroscope, with a camera, with a touch interface, with a color display, with stereo sound and voice and now video calling... and which cost about an order of magnitude less even with inflation. All over about 15-17 years. Astonishing.

Will there be any more new product announcements at Macworld? I did not know if they do all the product announcements on the 1st day or what. I'm really hoping for a true video iPod. Just wondering if there's a chance of new product announcements for the rest of the week! Thanks
