i got what you were asking confused.. you just need to change the position from absolute to "position: fixed" and that will keep it in the browser window no matter your scrolling..the jquery will just animate an object.

That's true for SNES, but can't find anything about that for N64. I just realised my N64 has some sort of cartridge adapter on it... maybe I just need to bite the bullet and buy a cheap N64 game.

I understand what a header file is..... I was just curious about what would change if I changed this file
Nothing.
Nothing.

the problem is I can send a message to myself, and the settings I have put in are exactly like the ones on my PC which work.
Hang on.. Ive fixed it now, I hadn't checked the username and password of my outgoing mail, I had just set it up when I started where that option wasnt available, and I just found it now.
thanks for you help

You won't directly be able to install XP over 7. You'll have to use bootcamp assistant to erase the windows partition and create a new one.
That will work, however...
You should be able to simply: Reboot the Mac using the XP install disc holding Alt/Option. Reformat the Boot Camp partition from the XP installer (as you do to switch from FAT32->NTFS in the usual install) and forge ahead.

I guessed it worked that way! I just imagined that there would be many other entries submitted at the same time by other people.
I don't find it a problem anyway, but it just looked as if one person was taking over the front page :D

Mr. Seidenberg said that carriers would add enough capacity so that none of the new services would degrade their ability to deliver existing Internet services.
Oh, puhleez -- who just fell off the turnip truck?
The whole purpose of prioritization turns on carriers' ability to make targeted investment. That statement will turn out to be false and they know it.

My advice - don't use Go Daddy. Use Host Gator - AMAZING customer service, and for a great price.
That's from a guy that has a reseller account with around 50+ sites hosted there.

In the time you spent "testing", you could have just turned it off. Look under Energy Pref Pane.
That option does not answer my question: Should it dim after each 30 seconds or weather there is a more complicated schedule... It either goes dim after 30 sec of inactivity or 5 sec before LCD sleep...

Well I have a WD Portable HD, the 120 GB model (I don't know the Speed of the drive) and I have a late 07 MBP and I can read and record to the drive. When I bring it to some studios on there Mac Pros, it tells me it's not not fast enough and I have to save that session to another drive then Save a Copy Into my drive.
So my answer is it depends, lol.

Thanks!
This pic rocks. You have my vote. The simplicity of it is what sells it for me. (Plus the DJ-esque hands moving, like you're doing some scratching on the notebooks or something.)

Cheers for your replies!
onecajun - which name should I use here? The mac mini server shows as 'Mac Mini Server' to the Macs but there is also a NETBIOS name which is something like 'macmini28138'.
fluffles - one of the problems I suspect might be that the PC appears to be tied to a domain used by the previous (windows exchange) server - if I try to change this then it seems to seriously mess up the user accounts on that PC - not allowing me to log in etc.

Well, since ADC members aren't getting it early ... looks like I will be standing inline. I am sending my GF down an hour before I get off work, so I will be there around 4pm-ish.

I've been having this issue for over a week. I just noticed it, since I had to take my MBP (LAte 2008 2.4 MHZ unibody, 4gb) in to the Apple Store for a repair, and wanted to remove any passwords so the tech wouldn't have any problems working on it.
I couldn't access the Accounts pane. It freezes for a bit, then the entire window closes, giving me the option to ignore or tell Apple about it.
I had to remove the password from the Snow Leopard disk. I was told to remove the prefs file, the plist file, and cache files; nothing worked. I was told to reinstall a clean system. That didn't work, either. I upgraded using the combo updater to 10.6.7. Still no go.

Ahh I see. So the minimum size that any file in OS X can be is 4 KiB (4*2^10 bytes) regardless of how little data it contains?Nah, the file is whatever size it is, ie. smaller, but it uses up a full 4KB "spot" on the disk.

Thanks you two, I had just worked it out when I checked the thread just now to update it. It was as you said jiminaus I was creating my timer using scheduledTimerWithTimeInterval:target:selector:userInfo:repeats: on my main thread. But I solved it by just creating another thread and creating the timer from there, but I'm going to checkout your solution cause it might be more appropriate.
Just tested it and adding it to the common mode works perfectly, thanks again.

I already have the Gevey Sim Card. My iPhone 4 now shows T-mobile as the cell phone carrier instead of Simple Mobile. I can make calls but the reception is a little spotty now. Do I still need to enter the MMS settings from Simple Mobile on my iPhone 4? The phone is not jailbroken, only unlocked with the Gevey. Thanks

A college football game every New Years won't help either.
Almost tragic what was done to the field. Why can't they go mess up Citi Field?Citi field is messed up enough with the Mets playing on it.:p
