NW, an Australian tabloid, is in big trouble after reporting that Katy cheated on her husband just a couple of months after they wed, she has lawyered up and plans a Katie Holmes style attack.
The other man is record producer Benny Blanco, who has worked with Britney Spears, Ke$ha and Justin Bieber. The story claims the affair took place while Blanco was mixing California Gurls, but one problem with that- he didn't mix it.
Its gone to court because NW refused to apologize for the story. Perry is seeking aggravated damages which will likely bring a six figure payout.
