Stephanie Pratt: StyleBistro Interview
For three seasons, Stephanie Pratt captivated audiences on MTV's hit reality show The Hills with her sunkissed good looks and Southern California style. While some might be intimidated having their every move and wardrobe decision captured on camera, Stephanie embraced the challenge, picking up many fashion tips along the way.
As Style Bistro's guest editor, Stephanie happily spilled her style secrets from the items currently topping her shopping wish list (lots of color!), to how you can attain her beachy glow all year long, without the risk of skin damage. Here are some snippets from our convo:
SB: How would you define your sense of style?
It's pretty LA casual. I go back from being really feminine to kind of a tomboy. I'll either wear a flannel, jeans and converse, or some wedges and a sun dress.
SB: What article of clothing in your closet gets the most wear?
Definitely my Wildfox baggy beach jumpers. I always grab those to go to the market and I always wear them when I fly because they're so comfortable and cute.
SB: On her secret past as a clothing hoarder:
I used to just love clothes so much that I used to be a hoarder. I would buy things without trying them on and when people used to send me things I'd always keep it. Now when people send me things I'm like, 'No. I'm not going to like how this looks on me, this won't look right on camera and I send it back.'
SB: How do you maintain that California glow year round?
I put fake tanner on my face as often as I can because I always feel better with some kind of color. I also use Bare Escentuals bronzer, it's called warm radiance. It's the best!
SB: What can you tell us about your new reality show?
It's something that I've never done before and just unlike anything I've ever done!
Stephanie Pratt: Purses Have Always Been Her "Number One Thing"
Blake Lively and Rachel Bilson aren't the only starlets with a serious love of all things Chanel. Stephanie Pratt, who says purses have always been her "number one thing," owns an enviable collection of the ultra-luxe purses, from a couple of classic quilted flap bag to several sleek leather totes. Just how important is the right purse to Stephanie? The reality star, who is currently in the process of developing her own bag line, says her biggest shopping splurge to date was on a bag she just couldn't pass up.The purse was Chanel and it was a seasonal bag. It has this middle option where you can unzip it and it turns into a bigger bag. The extra fabric in the middle is this awesome plaid!
The unique Chanel Paris-London Calfskin tote, with a retail value of almost $2,700, also fits Stephanie's strict purse criteria. The reality star needs a bag that not only looks good, but can also keep up with her hectic lifestyle. Stephanie says:
I'm very crazy about having a functional purse, so [it needs] lots of pockets because I carry everything from lipgloss to food in my purse. I love little studs, I love chains and I love having the long strap option.
We can't wait to check out Stephanie's bag collection once it hits stores!

Erin Lucas: Style Bistro Interview
Here's an excerpt from an interview Erin did with Style Bistro's Editor-in-Chief John Newlin SB: How would you describe your personal style?
Eclectic, hippie, rock 'n' roll.
SB: Three things every woman should have in her closet?
Erin: You need a staple blazer because it goes with so many pieces. I love Elizabeth and James, they make the best blazers and are not too expensive. A good pair of jeans—I love Current Elliot jeans. I've got on the high-waisted black skinny ones and I'm [also] quite into the bell bottom jeans these days. A go-to feel-good dress, something that you put on and feel sexy. Every woman should have something in her closet that makes her feel sexy and feminine and beautiful.
SB: What's been your favorite red carpet moment?
I got a lot of flack for this, but there's a photo of me in a little black A-lined high-waisted American Apparel skirt and this white lace crop top. I had so much fun that night. It's this cute little fun outfit and, you know, people are like 'Oh, the Madonna look,' [and] 'What is she thinking, Clarissa Explains it All?' But I don't know, I loved it. SB: Tell us about your beauty routine.
It's very, very minimal. My hair, I haven't cut it in ages much to my mother's sighs. But I've sort of adopted the whole LA minimalistic [thing]: chapstick, a little bit of blush, undereye concealer, a good brow gel and a tiny bit of mascara. If I go out at night, maybe I'll put on a red lip. It takes five minutes to get ready and getting dressed, like 10.
SB: Which celeb's closet would you love to raid?
Do the Olsen twins count as one person? I do love Chloe Sevigny's style. She wears what she wants and she feels good in it. She doesn't care about what other people think. She's got some really interesting pieces. I like how she mixes and matches things. Click here to read the article in it's entirety.
