It's possible that it's a firewall problem on either your end or, more likely, the hospital's wifi. I can't offer any concrete reason why but a lot of public wifi's block things for one reason or another. It could easily be the case with whatever service provider you're trying to get emails from.

Guys,
I am going to buy a new iMac in 10 days time fully loaded with SDD and 2T Hard drive and 8GB ram, and want to know if I should Bootcamp or run Parallels on it;
The only windows things I need to run for now are;
To check my company mail via Citrix using a USB Smartbadge reader for authentication.
Run a Golf Swing annalist software program

I agree on the $50 figure. The 170 is a fantastic machine, but like a lot of other Macs, aren't nearly as valuable as people seem to think they are. Unless you have a prototype, it usually takes a mint machine with original packaging to really get the price to eye opening levels.

I have an iPhone 3G (not jailbroken), and I run Windows. Is there any way to save a voicemail from the iPhone to my computer? I thought I read there is Mac software that can extract voicemails from iTunes backups, is there anything for Windows?
ive only seen how to do it if your jailbroken

have you tried booting into safe mode (holding down left shift key when you turn the computer on)?
as simsaladimbamba said, drop $30 on the SL disc. You're gonna need it eventually

Owning a Mac Pro 1,1 I have found it just as usable on Lion as it is on Snow Leopard (It is still a beta at the end of the day so of course there are going to be bugs).
I would say its pretty safe in support, the only reason Apple are removing support of the older generation is due to the 1st gen Core chips using 32bit architecture. The Mac Pro used a Xeon which shared traits with the Core 2 Duo, hence it is actually a 64 bit chip.
How does it run snow leopard? Is it fairly smooth and usable? I'm just concerned about CPU. I'll be upgrading the HDD's, Ram and GPU.

Doubt they'll give you a new unit but they WILL fix your current one, go ahead and bring it in.
Well in the case that they can't fix it, they will replace it.

As the above poster stated, it is most likely the
/System/Library/Filesystems/cd9660.fs/cd9660.util
permission that is repaired. This is a hard-coded permission repair, and was done due to a security concern, IIRC. Nothing to be concerned about.

For 1.1.1 all you need to do is visit JailBreakMe.com on your browser. It'll do the work for you via the Safari Exploit. This will not work on 1.1.2+.

They used a sample from the song "What Am I Going To Do" by The Dovers. This single makes me extremely excited for his new album. I haven't ever really gotten into Deerhunter or Atlas Sound, but this single just might be good enough for me to try out both artists again.

Yeah, I'm almost certain this will be NTSC-J. Get a cheap Japanese Mario 64 cart to test it with. Or just get Starfox 64 'cos it's awesome, you should at least play through that before you sell it :D
Any chance you can post some pictures of the console itself please? I've seen Korean versions of most consoles, but I'm not sure I've seen their N64.
Edit: That adapter you have is just a simple pin extender to play US games, so I would say this is definitely a Japanese machine inside.

Just a little note to say that someone with RAM authority (CanadaRAM?) should probably update the "Understanding Intel Mac RAM" (http://guides.macrumors.com/Understanding_Intel_Mac_RAM) guide as it doesn't have any info on the new DDR3 Macs.
Thank you. :)
Thank you. :)

It's very likely the PSU is dead, it could be the
Here is a guide to replace it:

(White 2006 iMac 20-inch, look around the site for other models if this isn't yours)
Getting a new one from apple will most likely cost you around $500, but it should be able to get one for about $100 used, but with some risks.
Did a quick google and here is a new one for $118:

I don't know anything about the shop that sels it tho.
