Hi,
Here's what I want to do. Send a cool newsletter to a bunch of people, but I want it in the email (not an attached pdf file, I want it like a normal newsletter) and I want it to look nice, like with pictures and stuff.
So I tried the Publishing View with Word but then I'm stuck. How do I send it? I'm I even using the right program to do that?
Thank you all.

Yeas I've done a couple of those restarts since learning how with no change. I'll see if anybody suggests any different and then try the restore.
If I restore will I lose my text messages and data within apps?
Thanks scott

This person had the same question.
App doesn't look to be updated to 4.0 and above yet he was using an iPhone 4 in that video.

I don't think apple will ad alot of M$ Office compatibility, I think they'd rather rely on M$ Office or make the push to seperate themselves from relying on M$ .

Updates replace changed files. Softare Update merely automates what you would do when you manually download updates. IMHO, the reports that you heard about updates originate between the keyboard and chair.Actually, the issues aren;t of the PEBKAC variety. Ever since Apple started with patch updates through Software Update I've had issues occur that were fixed by applying the full point update (not the combo update). Pretty much every issue that has been fixed by installing the combo update (that I know of) has been where the system in question had one ofr more point patch updates installed by software update instead of the full point update.
Ever since that became a common occurance, I only install the full point updates and haven't had any of the funky issues that people seem to have that are apparently caused by the smaller patch updates.
I think Apple could save some money by not bothering with the patch updates so they have less software to test and have less customer issues. In theory having the three types of updates (patch, point and combo) gives them too many combinations to test. Since apparently depending on which updates were patch and which were point changes the outcome of how the system works.

I just sold my 1.42, 1gb, 60gb, superdrive 14" for $570 on ebay. You'll probably have better luck getting a high price there.

Yes I have done all updating and everything necessary. I'm going to try some custom video card drivers later. I tried 2 separate TVs, and 2 HDMI wires, nothing.
Which adapter are you using?

Grab a 4GB for $299 while you can. No one that just spent $500 or $600 is going to be willing to let it go for these prices. I know I wouldn't. Wait a few months and I'm sure they will be going for these prices.

I purchased the peachpit press books intending to do the Apple Certified System Administrator (ACSA 10.6) exams but havent had time to do so until now. From what iv'e read about discontinuing of xserve and apple looking to move away from this area is it really worth my time and money doing this certification anymore? I want some apple certification to my name. Im wondering if I should just do the Apple Certified Support Professional (ACSP) 10.6. its only one exam as opposed to four. Any advice would be appreciated thanks

Internet Explorer 6 is dying. Some companies, including the one I work for, have already dropped support. Things like this are part of the many reasons it needs to die for the web to move forward.
For times you absolutely need ie6 support, use whatever hover (http://www.xs4all.nl/~peterned/csshover.html) to get the hover pseudo class to work right in ie6.

Hi all,
Is that really necessary to get TRIM enabled on MBA SSD? I just got new MBA ultimate that comes with Samsung SSD.
Thanks.
It won't hurt matters, but it does involve installing a hack that discussed in the Mac Pro forums (try a search of TRIM Support Enabler). It installs a kernel extension from the current MacBook Pro versions of 10.6.7, which do support TRIM on Apple's OEM drives. Anyway, TRIM is coming officially in OS X 10.7, which is expected as early as June. In 2 months (or even 6 months with average usage), your drive performance shouldn't degrade enough so that you would notice. The newer drives that Apple uses are a lot better than older SSDs were.

Did you install the 32-bit or 64-bit version?
Edit: shame on me for not reading original post
I have the same problem on my 2011 quad-core MBP. 8 gb of ram installed and Windows 7 only sees 2.
This is on a 32 bit version. Any ideas?

Asking specific tax questions on an online forum is just asking for problems.
You should have tax forms from your university. Call them and ask or call the IRS and ask. But asking on an internet forum is a bad idea..

The only printer I can recommend is the HP Desk Writer 550C. Its got the connector and the one I used with my Quadra 800, 7100, and 7500. Great printer, and pretty efficient on ink. Not too sure if you can still find the ink for it or not. I'll pop mine open and see what type of cartridge it uses.

Well guys, that little fear that Apple was going to lose another star player (during the Steve Jobs health scare), should be gone now!

Speculation that Ive would leave Apple to return to the UK is also false, says a former colleague: ‘I’m not sure there is any truth he wants to come back. My last conversations with him were that he was planning to sell his house in the UK.’
Let's enjoy some nice Apple products now.
