If court / lawyer really want to reach you, they will have a person who will find you and "serve" you a paper.
They don't do it through phone calls.

I just got myself a TV (Sony Bravia 40", 60hz. My first real tv ha) and a ps3. I'm playing DA:O on it and the game stutters a bit (often during video sequences when the camera is panning, as well as during spellcasting) and the character models seem to be choppy around the edges when looked at close up.
Is this just the games performance? Is it my tv? Should I have gotten 120hz?
It's not your TV. :o But keep in mind that the demo is not final, so the retail release should perform better -- but how much I couldn't say.
At least you can rent it to try it out?
Even if it's not the smoothest game, if it's as good as the first, it's worth playing.

I have a 7 years old Pro Monitor that has 5BNC, the workstation standard.
my question is, the saturation of it and the sharpness are going south.
Will a VGA (Video Card plug) to 5BNC (monitor) save it or the it already hit its lifespan?

I have recently bought an Airport card for my iMac G3 and an Airport Extreme Card for my Powerbook G4. I installed both cards and set up the iMac to share the ethernet broadband connection over Airport, otherwise known as software base station.
I tried it out for the first time yesterday and it worked, once. Since then the powerbook will connect to the network set up by the iMac to share the net connection and everythin else works but the net access just times out when I try to go to a site.
Could this be my ISP (Blueyonder) clamping down once I had used the Broadband service on both computers at once? If so is there a way round it eg. IP masking as a router would so the ISP only see's one IP address? How can I do this?
I am out of guesses what could be the problem so any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Ryan

I'd love to see the Tea Party try that. :p Could you imagine the majority leader losing his seat at a time when his party doesn't have the Senate or Presidency? That would be such a huge blow.
And who knows if a teabagger could win in Boehner's district.

In this day and age there MUST be a way to play World of Warcraft on a PowerPC machine. People these days seem to have a trick or way to force install things that were never meant to be.
So come on, someone out there... all I want to do is play my old school WoW (original game w/no expansions) on my old school G5. It worked before the stupid patch 4.0.1 came along so there MUST be a way to make it work.
Anybody?! Please?!

We had one of those in school at one point, I always really liked them for some reason.
I got one for free 6-8 years ago, played around with it for a little bit. Would have been more fun if I had a bunch of old games for it.

I have an 8gb iphone with everything that comes in the box with the exception of headphones. You can have the headphones if you would like but most people shy away from using someone elses headphones. Your call. It is unlocked. I will wipe it and restore in firmware of your choice. It will come in original box just like purchased from the store. It currently has a bestskinever on it and I have another one you can put on it when it arrives if you want to take the first one off. Overall, I'd rate the phone 9/10. I will get pics up asap.

I have been working on a DVD menu in DVD Studio Pro. Every time I quit the project and open it up again it gives me the message that the document could not be opened. I have version 4.1.2. I have Snow Leopard 10.6.6. I have tried using DiskWarrior and reinstalling DVD Studio Pro. I have tried deleting the preferences but for some reasons when I go to harddrive then to Library, then to preferences there is no DVD studio pro preferences. The menu is pretty complex is includes Play, Producer's notes, Chapters, and Crew. Crew has 9 different menus. If there is anybody that knows how to fix this problem please reply. I don't want to do just do it all in one sitting which takes 3 hours. Thank you.

I am not sure if this is the place to post this. But here is goes.
I am going to japan to study in january. I am on a hunt for luggage and a rugged carry on. I would like it to be able to hold my 12" ibook and its accessories, which is pretty much the power adapter and maybe an extra battery. It needs to hold my ipod and whatever i bring with it. I would like it to be able to carry at least 3 midsize books. This will be my carry-on as well as my everyday walk around bag. So i'd like it to be light and relatively portable(i.e. not bulky and akward to carry). I would also like it to have some color. I have seem way too many black bags out there.
This last one is a maybe: If possible i'd like it to be able to hold a Rebel XT with battery grip as well as walkaround lens. This is not mandatory but would be nice.
I have looked at booq bags and they have some nice stuff but no color.
Thanks in advance.

Ok, I hope some of the experts out there can help me out.
I'm using photoshop to make some high quality posters that I'm going to print out using our university printers (very nice, archival paper, etc.), and I want to be sure I'm doing everything I can do ensure the highest quality I can.
So this is what happened, I started making these posters with no intent to print them at first, and so I made them 10"x6.67" at like 150 DPI. NOW, I want to print them at 18"x12" and also at the original smaller size. Also in these posters it's pretty much just text and shapes made using the shape tool, some textures, etc. Here are some of the one's I've done up to now to give you an idea of what I'm working with:
https://lostindesign1.wordpress.com/
I have a variety of questions:
1. Is it true that if I just go into the current file and change it to 18x12 at 300dpi, it won't actually be that quality? I've heard this is true.
2. Would it be best to make a new file at 18x12, 300dpi, and then import everything from the old file, or simply make them new again? (NOTE: I have no real objection making them new if it will make it nicer, also, there's a lot of things I actually want to change with them so I wouldn't mind starting from scratch).
3. Going off of that question, let's say I make an 18x12, and I want to print a 10x6.67, could I just decrease image size, save it in a printable form, and that won't affect quality?
4. That reminds me, what is the best format to print from? I know not JPG, but maybe TIFF? not really sure here.
4. When using these shapes and texts, should I rasterize them once I'm ready to print, or does that not matter? Or is there something else I should be doing? I'm confused about this whole rasterizing thing.
Sorry for the boatload of random questions, I just want to be sure I'm getting high quality stuff here when I print these, as I'm going to be giving some as gifts and I just want them to look nice around my apartment.
Thanks to everyone who helps out!

What firmware is your system running?
I ask, as some revisions had trouble with eSATA cards in 2009 systems (B08 has issues issues for example, yet B07 works correctly).
