I love Nikon because they are a perfect foil and competition for Canon.
I love their cameras and the photos I have seen the photographers take.

My mother recently got a tourist visa for 10 years. I know that when she enters USA she will get I-94 which will be valid for 6 months, and she has to go back before the I-94 expires. My question is:
1) Can she go back to India for say 2 months and come back to US to stay for another 6 months?
Ex: she comes on 1st Jan 2011 , goes back 31st June 2011 , then stay for couple of months in India and Again Come Back on 1st Sep and stay for more 6 months ?
According to my understanding tourist can stay only 6 months in USA in a calendar year, provided they don’t apply for extension, is it true?
2) What if she comes on 1st Jan 2011 stays for 6 months, applies for 6 months extension gets it.
Goes back in month of Dec. stays for 2 months and again comes on March 1st 2012, will she face any problem at port of entry? Due to her extension she took on her last visit?
Please help me understand pros and corns? What is the best way to use 10 years tourist visa to stay in USA legally to Maximum period.

I have both EB3 and EB2 labor approved and EB2 I-140 approved for the same job requirement in the same company. Here're some details:
labor PD : 03/2005 (EB3)
labor PD : 12/2006 (EB2),
I-140 approved (EB2)
I-485 Applied : 07/2007 with approved EB2 I-140
Is it possible to use my EB3�s PD for my EB2 application? If so, what�s the procedure.

Yes, you can renew if your 140 is approved, i have done mine, my H1B was expired and used EAD for 2 months, and again file fresh H1B and got approved and went out of country to get stamp done,

Hi,
I got 2 year EAD from NSC in August 2008.
Wanted to apply for Advance Parole (second time).
Is NSC issuing 2 year AP's ?
Wondering if any body got Advance Parole for 2 years from NSC.
Also, I appreciate if any one can share their experince about INFOPASS to get Advance Parole in case of emergency
(if one did not apply for AP & need to travel urgently).

$930 plus a biometrics fee of $80; the fee total is $1,010. Exceptions listed below. Having a good website or a forum does not mean the lawyer is reputed. Even small lawyers can be good and can pay more attention to a case. Some lawyers do not know marketing and do not have good website, but they maybe good in law.

Myemployer sent a wage request to OES . They replied by saying that the prevwailing wage is not available for your zone so they basically gave me a level 1 wage when it should be the leavel 3 wage for eb2...The person said that should not be a problem

i'm in same situation. Lawyer said filing I-130 is not considered as another GC application. it's just petition and doesn't affect EB processing. even we don't need to mention it in EB I-485. both are seperate things.
EB3 is very slow so batter you file I-130.
i filed I-130 in May 2006 and EB2 i-485 in Dec 2004. still waiting :(

I and my family have to travel to India urgently due to medical urgency. Our only AP document was taken last year and this year the renewal is not yet done. We are using our EAD status and H1 is expired and no longer available.
Is there a way I can get an emergency appt and a AP travel document. if yes, what do I need to do to get that.
If this question has been answered earlier, can someone point to the right source.

Check with the lawyer first...I don't think you can apply for AP while you are outside U.S. I know for sure, Reentry permit will be denied if you apply from outside U.S. I am not sure if it's the same for AP. Incidentally, you use the same 131 form for both...
So check with a lawyer before you act based on the advice from the forum, even if it means shelling some money...That money will be well spent...
