I don't think that there's a way to do it here at MacRumors, but if you've participated in the thread you can use Google to find it. Just go to Google and type in a word or two that you know were in the thread, your user name and "site:forums.macrumors.com" (without the quotes). You can then use "Search Tools" drop down in the sidebar of Google to narrow it down to a specific time frame if there's too many results initially.

Id probably say OCZ Vertex II upgraded from my iMac, they are currently doing a promotion also. I think SSD will def work way faster on your mba.

From what I've seen, it looks like it would a PITA to install your own SSD in an iMac.

A tad late to the party, are we?
I like your strategy though. Wait until the contest gets down to the final few and then jump in! Brilliant!

do you mean ipad? or ipod touch?
in any case, both support skype. the ipad does not support skype outgoing VIDEO calls, as there is no camera - however with todays impeding updates this is likely to not be true (the ipad is rumored to have a front facing camera).
other then that, you can make voice calls just fine :)

I run SPSS 19 on a virtual machine (windows XP) using Virtualbox.
Works just fine.
Everything went smoother when I upgraded to 8 Gb, though.

Find a ton of front screen protectors. I just want a good cheap clear skin for the back only. Been rocking a Speck case pretty much from day 1 but really love the form factor of the iPod touch 4. Shame to keep the beauty of the design hidden.
Any good cheap choices for just the back?

Crossloop works pretty well. I've used it when I worked in a NOC and it works PC-Mac, Mac-PC, Mac-Mac, etc. Easy to install and it relies on a access code to share with the person you want to have access to your desktop.

With the problematic firmware, did refreshing the websites cause the images to eventually load properly? This sounds like a problem I had with a RV042 and some windows boxes. I didn't have time to screw with it and instead swapped it with a known working router.

We had about 10,000photos when our iPhoto library became too unstable to use with confidence.
We looked at Lightroom and Aperture before finally deciding on Lightroom.
We've been happy and not looked back. We only put our top 1% of photos into iPhoto for easy uploading to Facebook/mobileme gallery etc.
I suggest using MRoogle (http://mroogle.edesignuk.com/) to search for threads about "lightroom or aperture", but most people end up saying that you can download both for 30days trials and then decide. But make sure you have plenty of time to play before you decide.

It was good.
It has a strong message.
Stay away from women because they'll make you drink, then you'll lose everything and eventually, you'll have to buy flowers to beg your mom to let you move back home.
Haha!

Looking for an Illustrator plugin (CS5 compatible) that's similar to HotDoors Cad Tools.
Actually I'm only interested in one that's capable of "measuring" an object and places the dimensions next to each measured side/segment/radius, etc. I really don't care for all the other wonderful features of Cad Tools at the time.
I have to do a lot of these for some die cut specs and it's very time consuming to do it manually (draw the arrows, etc.)...and Cad Tools update for CS5 is very expensive.
Any suggestions.
TIA

Why would you want the space bar to act like an enter key?
You'd

this.
Yeah, in a word processing program. Expand your thinking a bit to other types of applications. For example, AutoCad for Windows requires a "return" (enter) to execute a command. Sometimes it takes several of them to get through a sequence. I'm sure many other programs have similar needs for that Enter key. Having the space bar as a substitute is convenient.

I hate, I mean HATE these phillips #00 and #000 screws. When I swapped the ram on my late 2008 alum macbook I stripped one of the screws (using the correct phillips #00 or #000, I forget which) getting them out. I had to go to the apple store where they were able to get the stripped screw out. They also had to order replacements (that they graciously gave and mailed me for free despite being out of warranty). When I was setting the last screw, when I had maybe one turn left, it stripped again, but the access door closed thankfully.
Fast forward a year later - now - and I am again having the same problem getting the screw out that holds the hard drive in. I am swapping my 250gb for a 500gb WD Black. My question is not so much how to get the stripped screw out - I have already made a genius appointment - but how in the HECK do you get these things out before they strip? What am I doing wrong? I consider myself pretty handy but the 00 and 000 just seem to be hard as can be to get out.
I tend to prefer craftsman tools, though the screw driver I am using is the "Husky" brand which I got from lowes or home depot. Could it be the quality of the tool? Though the driver head is not deforming, the screw is. What gives!!
